E-Port Interactive Media partners with Travel Vu and Days Inn Hotel, Vancouver BC to Provide a Promotional and Informational Display for Tourists


VANCOUVER – Local Vancouver Company, E-Port Interactive Media, has provided its touch screen technology and marketing software into a gorgeous 46” high resolution touch interactive display at Days Inn Hotel in downtown Vancouver. E-Port is very excited to be part of this marketing initiative for Hotel lobby’s offering tourists and locals alike a unique interactive experience.

Interactive features include:
All information on British Columbia attractions, restaurants and local street food trucks can be downloaded from the screen onto a mobile by using SMS or QR codes. Additionally, several mobile apps are available for download. YVR arrivals and departures, live weather feed, and maps are available.

E-Port Interactive Media is tracking all data from usage by the public and will provide all participants data capture reports. Screen touches and scans are tracked.

This 46” display is powered by E-Port Interactive Media’s advanced, integrated touch-screen technology and proprietary software.

This is a first stage project for the partners, with a view to helping tourists learn more about the city and make a connection through mobile phones. In the future, a complete network of hotels will be providing advertising, local attraction information and ticket purchases, concert tickets purchases, interactive maps, BC Ferries schedules, coupons and much much more!

Working with strategic partners, E-Port Interactive Media designed and produced the user interface software including, Partner Attractions and Partner Hotels information.

The goal was to create an attractive, interactive and scalable public user engagement program for locals and tourists in Ottawa–Gatineau, on 42” high resolution interactive displays. Working with the NCC staff, the displays would be placed in high end locations throughout Canada’s capitol region.
