Outreach: Kiosks
Goal:
BC Hydro needed to get more Team Power Smart sign ups by connecting with the public at events
Solution:
E-Port designed 14 mobile units for Hydro to take to events province wide. E-Port created screen interface designs with BC Hydro to engage the public and increase signups
Result:
Deployment of E-Port kiosks helped to increase signups from 20,000 to 210,000 in a 10 month campaign. Goals reached and exceeded. In 2010 Power Smart team member signups increased to 262,688 members.
Residential: Kiosks
Goal:
BC Hydro needed to interact with the public in retail stores, providing interactive information on Power Smart products. BCHR also needed to increase Team Power Smart sign ups
Solution
E-Port incorporated Power Smart interactive information, a quiz, E-postcard function and high resolution videos. 20 Kiosks are at Lower Mainland locations including Home Depot, London Drugs, Rona, Trail Appliances, The Bay, Future Shop, Lighthouse, Wal Mart.

Olympic Village/ Olympic Partner:Kiosks
Goal:
To promote BC Hydro’s Power Smart initiatives to international visitors. To get local BC residents to sign up to become Power Smart team members.
Solution:
BC Hydro’s on going campaign with E-Port kiosks was given an Olympic face including new GE (Olympic Sponsor) Profile Appliances showcasing energy smart GE products. The user could sign up to be a Power Smart team member and send an e-postcard.
Result:
Reached many new consumers
