Working with E-Port to get our 26 digital kiosks programmed and operational throughout the city has been a pleasure. Minty and the whole E-Port team have been extremely responsive, flexible and supportive throughout every stage of the process. Sincerely,

Thanks to your display I was able to remove the huge brochure rack – no more paper – and be more environmental friendly. At the same time, people complain less about our little & small elevator as they enjoy the screen so much!!! And well Minty is just fabulous!!! A pleasure to work with. Cheers,

In 2013, visitors to Canada’s Capital Region experience new ways of connecting and discovering the many Capital sites and landmarks. With the launch of its Capital Wi-Fi Network, the National Capital Commission (NCC) has modernized its approach to visitor services by providing service where visitors are and maximizing the use of new technologies. The Capital Region welcomes more than ten million visitors each year and they are looking for information by various means, including the Internet and smart phones. The Outdoor Capital Wi-Fi service in our parks, combined with an innovative network of 40 Interactive Touch Screen units, is part of our new approach that uses technology to enhance the visitor’s experience. Residents and visitors alike have now access, free of charge, to key information, special offers and Wi-Fi service in high traffic pedestrian areas and popular attractions of Ottawa-Gatineau. The concept and the deployment of the initiative is the result of a solid collaboration between the tourism and cultural industry of Ottawa-Gatineau and Strategic Partners and E-Port Interactive Media. I would like to sincerely thanks Minty and her team at E-Port for all the dedication to the project.
Daniel Feeny Director – Marketing & Partnerships National Capital Commission (NCC)
E-Port Systems represents the future of interactive media. Their user-friendly interface with touch screen capabilities created an intriguing component to our event. Additionally, we enjoyed using their polling system to learn more about our event attendees. Eport was an invaluable part of our high-tech show.
Lindsay Smith, CEO, F5 EXPO
Working with E-port Systems was a dream. We came to them late in the game with an innovative endeavour. Not only did they have fantastic ideas to make our vision a reality – they put together incredibly appealing visuals and the system was very user friendly. We had hoped for a memorable interactive experience by the activation users and E-port truly delivered. I look forward to the opportunity of working with them in the future.

Laura Ballance Media Group engaged E-Port Systems to supply their interactive screens as a resource for hundreds of journalists from around the world who were using the BC International Media Centre during the 2010 Winter Games. The interactive monitors were a big hit with media, providing important information with ease in a fun and interactive way. E-Port staff was incredibly helpful during the development process, ensuring the screens met the needs of the media centre, a one-of-a-kind facility that had never been built or operated before. In particular, Minty Thompson’s expertise and ideas helped to take the Media Centre to the world-class level at which we were hoping it would be.

At the 2010 Winter Olympic Games Clean Air Champions had the opportunity to use E-Port technology as an outreach and social engagement tool. The E-Port kiosks captured key data and images and allowed us to engage our audience in a unique and meaningful way. The staff at E-Port were professional, quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. We hope to employ the E-Port technology for future events both for our own public engagements and that of our sponsors.
Deirdre Laframboise, Executive Director Clean Air Champions
The team at EPORT was great to work with. They were extremely helpful with the whole process and they were open to working with our ideas as well as suggesting their own to help us create an amazing interactive display. To stay within our budget, our existing big screen TV was converted into a Touch TV showcasing our Regional Parks using our photographs, trail maps and videos. The program appeals to all of the visitors coming into our Environmental Education Centre, both young and old. Whether they are looking for park information, wanting to send a postcard to friends or relatives or challenging themselves with the touch screen puzzle, it is rarely sitting idle. The new ‘Regional Parks Information Kiosk’ is a great interactive addition to our Center and we look forward to an opportunity to work with EPORT again in the future.

E-port’s been a pleasure to work with. For the Power Smart Kiosk project, E-Port has consistently demonstrated initiative and creativity in meeting BC Hydro’s requirements in a timely and cost-effectivemanner. Their technology is truly engaging and people love to stop and check out the kiosks and store front window displays.

We’re doing a tour of the NVSD schools with the Energy Kiosk this year and the reviews have been great.  It’s been used as part of a sustainability fair and a science fair and gets lots of use in the hallways at elementary schools.  One teacher who was hosting the kiosk at her school, reported that her kids have been reading some of the text to the younger grades who are still working on their reading skills.  Reports from teachers are that the tool is easy to use and that it’s a hit with the students. Our facilities team have been very helpful transporting the kiosk and it’s been easy from them to pick up, transport and install at each new school the kiosk visits. Thanks, Sarah

We have found these energy smart kiosks to be a great learning and interest building tool for our students. The eye catching design draws them in and the intuitive navigation allows them to tour through the software with ease, learning various ways they can conserve energy around their home and at school as well as options for teachers to dive into some fun classroom experiments. The units themselves are easy to move with a dolly and can be taken from school to school with no set up other than to just plug it in. A great way to start the conversation on conservation with students and staff alike. Working with e-port was a breeze, they were wonderful at sharing ideas around the design of the software and helping with numerous tweaks until it was just right. Getting us up and running with the kiosks was also done with ease. Ongoing support has been great as well, with software updates going perfectly.

We had a solid uptake with requests to use the kiosk. It was nice to have an additional tool in our arsenal for outreach, for both Green Teams and district Events. We used the kiosk at Education Week (at Aberdeen Mall) as well as at a City of Richmond sponsored “Let’s Talk Energy” public outreach forum at Richmond Centre. We also had the kiosk in the lobby of our Administration building for a couple of weeks. Thanks, Sarah

I just want to say on behalf of the entire team how thankful we are that you and your team are so wonderful. Everything looks great at the Haunted Village. This is truly a spectacular project…

We were pleased to see how easily E-port was able to take some very diverse educational content, and put it on display in a way that let people select their own areas of interest, and browse at their own pace. The layouts were easy to navigate and our rose images were sharp, clear, and stunning to see on the big screen. This was certainly a bonus-feature of the World Rose Festival, and it solved a myriad of issues we were facing in running traditional Powerpoint to communicate this educational content. Many thanks!

The Kamloops Museum recently contracted with EPort Interactive to produce an interactive game entitled “Secwepemc Seasons” to be used in our permanent exhibit space. The game was to have a multiple choice format with attractive graphics and intuitive, simple game play features. EPort was a successful partner in this venture, guiding us towards the best solutions within the parameters of what we wished to accomplish. They were always ready to respond to queries and move the development process along. I have no hesitation in recommending EPort Interactive for this kind of work.

The Kiosk was a great source to go and have all updated rebate info ready at our finger tips. With faster internet than our computers, it made an attractive information source in our presentations with the customer. It was of benefit to let customers know Sears has sources like these because Sears is the energy star retailer of the year over and over again. The kiosks contributed to increased sales of Energy Smart products. The kiosk was a very attractive addition to our floor.
We were very satisfied with E-Port’s service and would definitely use them again. The BC hydro/Sears kiosk content made our customers shopping experience easier. Thanks
Romy Bawa, Sears Victoria Home Store, Victoria,BC
Having it on the floor did help customers recognize BC hydros rebate program which my sales team talks about daily, and continues to promote. The display itself was very professional and easy to use.

At the Brentwood store the sales team used the Hydro kiosk quite often. So not only looking good on the sales floor , the sales team would daily use the kiosk to check to see if certain models were energy star qualified on the hydro web site. It made the overall sale more efficient in my mind and the customer received better service. Thanks
