Large Public Community-Information Portal
Goal:
To create a fun and visually compelling ‘Community-Interactive’ information portal for the Olympic visitors, together with a ‘goodwill’ outreach component to send a ‘Hello’ back to the world.
Solution:
Installed a 72” Thru-Touch interactive window display in GE Plaza at rinkside. Content included large scrollable category icons, together with high resolution Promo video. To allow visitors to reach out to their family and friends around the world, E-Port enabled a live webcam to capture recorded E-Postcards that led to sendouts of web-view pages and related Olympic related links.
Result:
Tens of thousands of people viewed the community information, and many thousands sent e-postcards. – Over 20,000 email addresses were captured. – Sponsor screens viewed over 5,000 times. – 40,000 people viewed the screens and were connected with via email.
